9月6日，由科技部国际合作司主办、同济大学承办“一带一路”国家农业和农村科技创新合作国际培训班在上海开班。开班仪式在同济大学中法中心C516会议室举行，并同时通过腾讯会议进行线上直播。同济大学现代农业科学与工程研究院院长张亚雷教授、同济大学科管部国际交流负责人、同济大学新农村发展研究院负责人和培训班学员参加了这次开班仪式。
开班仪式由同济大学新农村发展研究院夏雪芬博士主持。首先张亚雷教授致辞，他代表主办方对授课的专家和来自世界各地的学员表示热烈欢迎。他指出此次培训会对于发展中国家之间建立更加紧密的农业科技创新关系，促进更多共识、共创、共赢的形成具有积极意义。接着，同济大学科管部国际交流负责人致辞，她指出农业科技创新是现代农业发展的重要引擎，也是实现农业可持续发展的关键所在，要及时准确研判国内外农业科技创新发展形势，不折不扣贯彻落实习近平总书记关于农业科技发展工作的重要指示批示精神和党中央决策部署，要依靠科技和改革双轮驱动，加快建设农业强国。
最后，同济大学新农村发展研究院负责人简要介绍了培训班的基本情况。本次培训班将主要讲授包括中国农业农村科技创新和乡村振兴的发展实践与经验、可持续农业发展、农业废弃物低碳处理与资源回收、农业领域污染治理技术、农田土壤碳循环分析、国际科技合作政策与措施、农业科技创新政策法规、中拉农业科技合作实践与需求等方面的内容。
本次培训班以线上方式进行，在随后的三周时间里，来自马来西亚、苏丹、尼日利亚、巴基斯坦、孟加拉国、埃塞俄比亚、塞拉利昂、埃及和肯尼亚等10个国家的27名学员将在线上通过视频授课、视频交流讨论的形式，全面学习与认识农业农村科技发展、农业科技园区发展、农业废弃物资源化、科技创新创业等方面的内容。本次国际培训班将促进我国与“一带一路”沿线发展中国家，尤其是与拉美地区国家间的科技合作与交流。

International Training Course on Cooperation in Agricultural and Rural Science, Technology and Innovation for the "Belt and Road" Countries in 2023 Held in Shanghai
The international training program on agricultural and rural science and technology innovation cooperation among countries along the "Belt and Road" hosted by the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology and organized by Tongji University was launched in Shanghai on September 6, 2023. The opening ceremony was held at the C516 conference room of the Tongji University Sino-French Center, and it was also live-streamed online through Tencent Meeting. Professor Zhang Yalei, Dean of the Institute of Modern Agricultural Science and Engineering at Tongji University, and representatives from the International Cooperation Department of Tongji University, as well as the Institute of New Rural Development, attended the opening ceremony along with the trainee participants.
Dr. Xia Xuefen from the Institute of New Rural Development at Tongji University presided over the opening ceremony. Firstly, Professor Zhang Yali delivered a speech, warmly welcoming the lecturers and trainee participants from around the world on behalf of the organizers. He emphasized that this training program is of great significance for establishing closer agricultural science and technology innovation relations among developing countries and promoting consensus, co-creation, and win-win cooperation. Subsequently, the representative from the International Cooperation Department of Tongji University delivered a speech, pointing out that agricultural science and technology innovation is a vital engine for the development of modern agriculture and the key to achieving sustainable agricultural development. It is necessary to accurately assess the development of agricultural science and technology innovation at home and abroad, fully implement the important instructions and guidance from General Secretary Xi Jinping on the development of agricultural science and technology, and rely on both technology and reform to accelerate the construction of an agricultural powerhouse.
Lastly, the representative from the Institute of New Rural Development at Tongji University provided a brief introduction to the training program. The training will mainly cover topics including the development practices and experiences of agricultural and rural science and technology innovation and rural revitalization in China, sustainable agricultural development, low-carbon treatment and resource recovery of agricultural waste, pollution control technologies in the agricultural sector, analysis of carbon circulation in farmland soil, international science and technology cooperation policies and measures, policies and regulations on agricultural science and technology innovation, and practical needs and practices of China-Latin America agricultural science and technology cooperation.
This training program will be conducted online. Over the next three weeks, 27 trainees from 10 countries including Malaysia, Sudan, Nigeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Egypt, and Kenya will comprehensively learn about and understand the development of agricultural and rural science and technology, agricultural science and technology park development, agricultural waste recycling, and technological innovation and entrepreneurship through video lectures and online discussions. This international training course will promote scientific and technological cooperation and exchange between China and developing countries along the "Belt and Road" initiative, especially with countries in the Latin American region.
